Top Baby Must-Have Items
Baby Must-Have Items #1 – Two Way Zipper Pajamas
Zipper pajamas make life so much easier. The button pajamas tend to make diaper changes take longer. With zipper pajamas, you are in and out. If you ask me, two-way zipper pajamas are a game changer. These amazing pajamas allow you to change your little one’s diaper without having to completely undress your baby. You will be doing many MANY diaper changes. Investing in two-way zipper pajamas is a must! Personally, I love to dress my baby in clothes that are 100% cotton. Cotton is gentle on the skin. Two-way zipper pajamas are hands down one of my favorite baby items!
#2 – Onesies, onesies, and more onesies!
In my opinion, the cutesy clothes are really pretty, but comfort is where it’s at. Onesies are essential baby items for the first three months. Personally, I love to spend my days in comfortable clothes so I know my baby girl values comfort just the same. I stock up on onesies, onesies, and more onesies. This way my daughter can be as comfortable as possible throughout the day. Not to mention they make diaper changing so easy, which is another plus! These are the first type of clothing I make sure to have plenty of as my girl grows. Onesies galore!
Baby Must-Have Items #3 – Baby Wrap
When your baby is young it is so nice to be able to wear them. You can wear your baby around the house while you check some tasks off of your list. You can wear them when you are out and about. I went with the Boba Wrap Baby Carrier. It was so comfy and cozy for my daughter and me. Once I slipped my baby into the baby wrap she would instantly fall asleep. At first, figuring out how to wear the wrap can be overwhelming. It gets easier each time you put it on. Some people prefer a baby carrier with straps. It is a preference thing!
#4 – Hooded Baby Towels
I LOVE HOODED BABY TOWELS! They are perfect for after the bath, the pool, and the beach. I know some mamas use regular towels but I personally love using the hood to cover my daughter’s head. It is an easy way to dry off my daughter’s head after a bath and it can also help shield her from the sun if we are at the pool or beach. The animal hooded towels add so much cuteness. I am a sucker for animal-hooded baby towels. I probably have more hooded baby towels than I need.
Baby Must-Have Items #5 – B & H Baby Thermometer
The B & H thermometer makes bath time so easy. Bath time before this thermometer was stressful. My husband and I would spend so much time making sure the bath water was the perfect temperature. For any baby, the right bath temperature is so important. If your child has eczema, as my child does, you know just how important the right temperature is. I remember I would always second-guess the temperature.
With this bath time essential, you simply fill up the tub and put the ducky thermometer in the water. It tells you the temperature. There are so many cute designs of this thermometer. I went with the lady ducky with the long lashes. Another great feature is that it automatically turns on and off. I just love that this takes the guesswork out of bath time! This product is one of the best baby must-haves for first-time moms.
#6 – Silicone Scrubbing Brush
We have a baby care kit that came with a hairbrush (similar to the one they use at the hospital). This brush was way too hard on my little girl’s head. The silicone scrubbing brush is geared for kids with cradle cap, eczema, or sensitive skin. It is so gentle and leaves her head looking so great. Most importantly her head is no longer irritated! The only regret I have is not buying this sooner. It can even suction to the wall of the tub.

Baby Must-Have Items #7 – Little Remedies
It is natural for babies to have gas. I remember there were occasions when my baby would be crying due to gas, especially during the newborn period. Little remedies gas drops relieve gas in a few short minutes. We used this when my little girl was a newborn and we still keep it handy.
#8 – Pack-N-Play
Pack-N-Play is an amazing baby product to have when traveling. We used a Pack-N-Play when we went to visit my Mother In Law in Ohio. She slept great. This is an affordable alternative when you are going somewhere that does not have a crib. When we traveled to Florida, we brought along a Pack-N-Play for my daughter to play in. They are very easy to fold up and bring along with you on a trip. This is one of my must-haves for traveling.
Baby Must-Have Items #9 – Graco Swing
Our little family loves our Graco swing. We love this because it doesn’t take up too much room. It is great for small spaces. New mamas cherish moments of holding and rocking their little ones. It is nice to have a product that calms your baby. The swing is an excellent product that soothes your baby. Our baby loves being in her swing. It has different speeds, a built-in sound machine, plays songs, and vibrates.
#10 – Blankets
If you ask me, you can never have too many baby blankets. I have a baby blanket drawer in my daughter’s dresser. Blankets are another one of my favorite baby items! We are constantly using baby blankets. We use them for tummy time (daily), we use them when we snuggle, and when baby girl takes her occasional contact nap on us. Enjoy those contact naps! They don’t last as long as you wish they would! If you are in search of baby registry must-have items, do yourself a favor and put these on your list.

Baby Must-Have Items #11 – Floppy Hats
There are quite a few baby must-haves for the beach. Floppy hats are one of them! They are a great way to protect your sweetie’s skin while looking fabulous. There are so many super cute floppy hats out there. Whenever we enjoy a day by the water, we are sure to bring along a floppy hat for our little darling.
#12 – Long Sleeve Bathing Suit
I live near the water and our family loves to have fun in the sun. It was such an exciting time when my baby girl was old enough to wear sunscreen and go to the pool and beach. Long Sleeve Bathing Suits provide extra coverage and protection for their skin. There are also many many stylish covered bathing suits out there.
Baby Must Have-Items #13 – Vtech Wiggle & Crawl Ball
The Wiggle & Crawl Ball is the perfect encouragement for your baby to crawl. It has flashing lights that attract attention and has many songs and phrases. I laughed a lot watching my baby girl interact with this ball. Especially when it would say, “Come on let’s play!” Then roll right by her. The look on her face was priceless and it was so comical watching her try her hardest to get to that ball. This toy is the perfect toy for tummy time. We introduced this ball at six months.
